Climate change puts Christmas tree variety at risk

During a drive down a highway in the spring of 2018, a University of New Brunswick professor's wife pointed out clumps of bright red-coloured trees. Anthony Taylor of the faculty of forestry recognized them as dead balsam firs, which launched his research into how climate change is threatening the tree’s survival. (Dec. 8, 2024)
