The butterfly collector with more than 4.2 million insects seeks a safe haven

Steve Collins started collecting butterflies more than 60 years ago. He now has a collection of 4.2 million butterflies that cuts across 900 species. From the largest known species ever discovered to the smallest butterfly, he captures and preserves them in glass covered frames that are neatly stacked in shelves to keep them away from light which could fade their beautiful colour. His biggest fear is that his noble cause might not continue, as he can no longer sustain the research and preserve the natural habitat for butterflies.
