Governor General visits Unaaq Men's Association in Inukjuak

Gov. Gen. Mary Simon visited the Unaaq Men's Association in Inukjuak, Que., to see a demonstration of sealskin ropemaking. The men's association was created in 2001 after a number of young men were lost to suicide in the community. Today the association helps boys and young men reconnect with their language and culture through learning traditional skills from elders.
