TRUDEAU-KOKANEE CABIN

Alexandre (Sacha) Trudeau and his mother Margaret listen to speakers during a ceremony opening the Kokanee Glacier cabin approximately 35km northeast of Nelson, BC Saturday July 12, 2003. The structure replaces the rustic, 103-year-old Kokanee Glacier Cabin where Michel, youngest son of the late former prime minister Pierre Trudeau, stayed before he was swept into the lake by an avalanche in 1998.
