More than 400 people gathered early Sunday at a baseball field in rural Kennetcook, N.S., to watch on a big screen as local boxer Wyatt Sanford won a bronze medal at the Paris Olympics. Sanford lost the match, but he was guaranteed a bronze medal under Olympic boxing rules. (Aug. 4, 2024)
