Vermont Endangered Species

FILE- in this April 19, 2005 file photo, a Canada lynx heads into the Rio Grande National Forest after being released near Creede, Colo. Mark Maghini, manager with the Vermont's Nulhegan Basin wildlife refuge, said Thursday, Dec. 26, 2013, that number of Canada lynx has increased over the last several years. Historically there were four confirmed sightings of the Canada lynx in the state from the late 1700s through the early 2000s. Maghini said that last winter there were at least four sightings.
