North Korea has been hit by heavy rain and serious flooding, its state media said, in areas just near its border with China. The country's leader Kim Jong Un went into the area on Sunday, state media showed with still photographs in reports early on Monday. The images showed flooded areas shot from the air and Kim driving through floodwaters in his car.
