Chicago 2016 Olympics
**ADVANCE FOR WEEKEND EDITIONS, JULY 14-15 - FILE** With Chicago Mayor Richard Daley looking on at right, U.S. Olympic Committee Chairman Peter Ueberroth speaks following a meeting May 10, 2006, in Chicago to explore a bid for the 2016 Summer Games. Ueberroth, as well as Republican presidential hopeful former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, who helped rescue the scandal-plagued 2002 Winter Games in Salt Lake City, and and Billy Payne, who helped Atlanta win the 1996 Summer Games over Athens, Greece, have all offered advice to Chicago on what it need to do to win the its first Olympics and then host a successful Games. Their advice was simple: Make friends on the International Olympic Committee. Train lots of volunteers. And don't do it for the money. (AP Photo/M. Spencer Green, File)
