FILM DUCK SEASON

Mexican director Fernando Eimbcke, right, and his countryman, presenter Alfonso Cuaron pose for a photograph, Feb. 28, 2006, in New York. Eimbcke makes his feature film debut with "Duck Season," (Temporada de Patos) a story that explores the loneliness of childhood, the effects of divorce and the power of love and friendship, as well as the exuberance of youth. The film, released by Warner Independent Pictures, won 11 Ariel awards and is nominated for an Independent Spirit Award for Best Foreign Film. Cuaron, who directed "Y tu mama tambien," and "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban," is presenting Eimbcke's film, which is being released by Warner Independent Films. (AP Photo/Kathy Willens)
