Canada King George VI and Queen Elizabeth

Britain's King George VI and Queen Elizabeth visited the encampment of the Blackfeet Indians at Calgary, Alberta, during their westwards trip across Canada. They were greeted by Duck Chief, the medicine man performed a welcoming dance and throbbing drums and chanting voices made the experience one their majesties will remember. “I shook hands with your father, I shake hands with you; for both times I am glad” said Duck Chief, right, greeting the King at Calgary on June 5, 1939.
