SAGUENAY FLOODINGS

(XCHI 109) CHICOUTIMI Que., July 23, -- Pierre Soper, right, and his wife Ginette, look toward their house on Bosse Street downtown Chicoutimi. The Chicoutimi River invaded their street and house and the Soper couple had to be evacuated last weekend. They still don't know when they will go back to their house. Major floodings that occured over the weekend in the Saguenay region left a devastated area. (CP PHOTO) 1996 (stf/Jacques Boissinot) jqb
