VILLENEUVE DEATH ANNIVERSARY

FILE--The bronze casket containing the body of Gilles Villeneuve, the little driver who dreamed of retiring to this his hometown as world champion is carried through a sea of people as it leaves the church May 12, 1982 after funeral services attended by heads of government, friends from the elite circle of racing, and thousands of fans. The sign at the right reads "We love you Gilles". Villeneuve was 32 and died May 8 in Belgium. (CP PICTURE ARCHIVE/ Ron Poling)
