...(CPT51-Feb.1)--A mother seal rests in the spring sun with her newborn seal pup as sealers ply their trade in the distance off St. Anthony, Nfld. in the 1970s. Up to 1987 sealers hunted the pups for their white coats, but international pressure ended that.
