Mexico Opium

Mexican navy personnel said Monday, Aug. 17, 2015, they found and destroyed a six-acre (2.4 hectare) opium poppy plantation near the nation’s capital. Poppy plantations are in Mexico are usually smaller plots located in the remote mountains of Guerrero state in the south, or the mountains of Chihuahua, Sinaloa and Durango states in the north.
