Colombia Disappearances

FILE - In this Nov. 6, 1985, file photo, an armored vehicle crashes through the two story wooden doors at the front entrance to the Palace of Justice in Bogota, as soldiers and policemen prepared to rush inside. The Inter-American Court of Human Rights has charged Colombia, Wednesday Dec. 10, 2014, with human rights violations in connection with the disappearance of 10 people in 1985’s hostage crisis at the Supreme Court. The court ordered Colombia to provide relatives with compensation and psychological assistance, publish its sentence in national news media, and continue investigating the case. In addition to those disappeared, more than 100 people were killed in the government operation to retake the building, including all rebels and many judges. (AP Photo/Carlos Gonzalez, File)
