Barefoot Marathoner Vibram Lawsuit

FILE -- In this Sept. 10, 1960, file photo, Abebe Bikila of Ethiopia, running in his bare feet, leads along the Via Appia in Rome, in the final of the Olympic marathon, which he won. The family of Bikila, an Ethiopian runner who famously won an Olympic marathon barefoot, is suing Vibram, the maker of a popular line of minimalist running shoes, saying it used his name without permission. Bikila, who died in 1973, was the only person to win gold in the marathon while running barefoot. Vibram named a model of its Five Fingers shoes after him. (AP Photo/File)
