College Hall Grant Basketball

FILE - This is an April 19, 1972, file photo showing Travis Grant, all time scoring championship of Kentucky State University, posing after being presented with the Lapchick Trophy, in New York. He holds the trophy, right, and NBA and ABA basketballs. College basketball's greatest scorer shot his way over the poverty line with a tennis ball and a 5-gallon bucket tacked to his house. Travis Grant went on to win national championships, score more points than Pete Maravich and play professionally. Now, finally, that kid with the tennis ball is headed into the College Baketball Hall of Fame in the same class with Larry Bird and Magic Johnson. (AP Photo/File)
