ISABEL GRACE KING JOHN WILLIAM LYON MACKENZIE
Throughout her lifetime, Isabel Grace King, youngest daughter of William Lyon Mackenzie, who was exiled for his leadership in the responsible government rebellion of 1837, received the earnest devotion of her eldest son. This is one of the best photos of Prime Minister King with his mother and father, taken at Scarboro fair in 1911 when the prime minister was 36. John King, K.C., his father was an able lawyer.
