Vance clashed with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in the Oval Office, when he accused the Ukrainian leader of not thanking the U.S. for its support in their fight against the Russian invasion. Six months later, Zelenskyy appeared to make efforts to avoid a similar clash happening again.
