Trudeau not changing his mind on extradition

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says giving China what it wants by dropping the extradition case against high-tech executive Meng Wanzhou – to secure the release of Michael Kovrig and Michael Spavor, two Canadians arbitrarily detained in China – would encourage China and other countries to engage in hostage diplomacy. He says dissent and disagreement is a sign of a healthy society, but he is not changing his mind.
