The real people living Toronto's homelessness crisis
The Canadian Press spent several Thursday evenings in November and December visiting Sanctuary Toronto, a nonprofit organization that provide services to Toronto’s homeless population, and spoke with a handful of frequent visitors to hear their stories and understand what their day-to-day lives are like. The church has been providing support to those struggling with mental health, addiction, homelessness and poverty for over three decades. (Dec. 15, 2025).
