Thousands of protesters marched through downtown Toronto in the wake of high-profile, police-involved deaths in both Canada and the United States. The protest was fuelled by the death of 29-year-old Regis Korchinski-Paquet earlier this week, after police were called to her home by family members for assistance. Korchinski-Paquet died after falling from a 24th-floor balcony.
