Newsroom Ready: Trudeau says humanitarian pause critical to get back to two-state solution talks in Middle East

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says there must be a pause in the violence in Gaza to allow hostages to be released, aid to get in and foreign nationals to leave. He says the de-escalation is needed so there can be renewed talks towards peace and a two-state solution that allows both Israel and a Palestinian state to exist safely and securely. (Nov. 8, 2023)
