Newsroom Ready: Trudeau says distancing measures could last 'weeks to months,' U.S. border likely closing Friday night

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says the Canada-U.S. border will likely be closed to all non-essential travel in both directions as of Friday night. He says the details are still being worked out between the two countries. Speaking in Ottawa Thursday, Trudeau also urged people to self-isolate, and gave no timeline for how long the "difficult and extraordinary" measures now in place will need to last.
