Newsroom Ready: Party leaders point fingers over Alberta's COVID-19 situation

Alberta's spiralling COVID-19 crisis hit the campaign trail today, a day after Premier Jason Kenney reintroduced restrictions and announced elements of a vaccine passport system amid a public health emergency that is threatening to soon overload intensive care units. Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau tried to link the crisis to Conservative Leader Erin O'Toole, while O'Toole criticized Trudeau for allowing the Delta variant into the country and NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh slammed the timing of Trudeau's election call.
