Newsroom Ready: Parliament needs more sittings to monitor government, Scheer says

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau "wants an audience, not an opposition," says Conservative Leader Andrew Scheer. With the current limited operations of the House of Commons, Scheer says the Liberal government is escaping accountability, and with COVID-19-related restrictions loosening around the country, he wants more regular sittings with fewer MPs instead of online meetings.
