Newsroom Ready: Community reacts after child dead, nine injured in Ontario daycare crash
A young child was left dead after an SUV smashed through the window of a daycare north of Toronto shortly before pickup time. Police said another five children were injured, with one in critical condition, and three adult staff members were also hurt. The mayor of Richmond Hill, Ont., and onlookers reacted at the scene after police arrested a driver in what they said was not believed to be a deliberate act. (Sep. 10, 2025)
