N.L. premier Wakeham launches review of Quebec energy deal

Two months after winning the Newfoundland and Labrador election, premier Tony Wakeham has announced a four-month review of a draft energy deal with Hydro-Québec about power from Labrador. He says any final agreement will be subject to a public referendum. (Dec. 15, 2025)
