Monthly food bank use hits record 2 million

A new Food Banks Canada report says it recorded more than two million visits in March 2024 – nearly double the monthly visits five years ago in March 2019. At the North York Harvest warehouse in Toronto, volunteers have been hard at work sorting food donations. (Oct. 28, 2024)
