Galilea De Burgos, a Kelowna coffee shop worker, took in fellow students at her home after the evacuation of the University of British Columbia Okanagan campus due to wildfires. Raymun Khunkhun has lived in Kelowna for three decades and remembers the devastation of the 2003 wildfires in the city.
