Iran's 'recklessness' caused Flight 752 crash: Canada

Foreign Affairs Minister Marc Garneau says a forensic report on the downing of Ukraine International Airlines Flight 752 in January 2020 highlights Iranian authorities’ incompetence, recklessness and wanton disregard for human life. All 176 passengers were killed, including 55 Canadian citizens and 30 permanent residents, and Garneau says Canada is seeking reparations from Iran including assurances that measures have been taken to ensure that such a tragedy will never happen again.
