Jeff Lyons, Lobbyist and Co-Chair of Mayor Mel Lastman's 1997 election campaign on the stand at the MFP inquiry. Prominent city-hall lobbyist Jeffery Lyons offered a glimpse inside the world of city power-broking as he detailed his network of connections with Mayor Mel Lastman, former city budget chief Tom Jakobek and former Metro chairman Paul Godfrey. Mr. Lyons, a veteran political fundraiser who is known in political circles as "Brother Jeff," began his long-awaited testimony before an inquiry into the city's controversial computer-lease deal with MFP Financial Services Ltd. of Mississauga.
