Einarson wins as play begins in curling bubble

Defending champion Kerri Einarson earned a 7-3 victory over wild-card entry Mackenzie Zacharias at the Canadian women's curling championship on Friday night. The opening draw was the kickoff for a two-month run of curling events in a bubble setup at the Markin MacPhail Centre.
