Don't count on me to support Prairie demands: Bloc Leader Yves-Francois Blanchet

Bloc Quebecois Leader Yves-Francois Blanchet says anyone seeking more independence for Alberta and Saskatchewan in the hopes of promoting the oil and gas sector should not come to him for advice. Blanchet, whose party elected 32 MPs in Quebec in the Oct. 21 election, sat down with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on Wednesday to talk about shared priorities for the minority Parliament. Meanwhile, former Quebec premier Jean Charest says regional differences, including intense ones, are part of life in Canada.
