B.C. health officer makes plea to continue COVID-19 fight this holiday weekend

Provincial health officer Dr. Bonnie Henry thanked the people of B.C. for recommitting their efforts to fight COVID-19 following an uptick in cases connected to Canada Day gatherings. She is urging people to continue to prevent the spread of COVID-19 this long holiday weekend by celebrating in small groups and practising physical distancing. Henry reported 29 new COVID-19 cases for a total of 3,591 cases and no new deaths.
