Aviation expert says 'very rare' for plane to flip upside-down in crash

U.S. Marine veteran and aviation consultant J. Joseph says it’s too early to speculate on a cause of a plane crash at Toronto's Pearson airport, but winds were notably strong at that time. He says Pearson can present challenging landing conditions in the winter, but the intact fuselage and survivors mean investigators have plenty of evidence to determine what happened. (Feb. 17, 2025)
