Alan Doyle on 'Tell Tale Harbour' musical, and the transformation of Newfoundland's image

Alan Doyle is mounting his Mirvish debut in Toronto, "Tell Tale Harbour." The musical follows residents of a small town in Atlantic Canada that's about to lose its main employer, and must court a frozen-french-fry factory to open up in its stead. Doyle co-wrote and stars in the production. He talks about making the show, why it's not explicitly set in Newfoundland and how perceptions of his home province have changed over the years.
