Africa's freshwater fish face extinction in Lake Victoria due to pollution, overfishing and invasive species

Africa’s freshwater fish are on the decline, according to a recent report by the World Wide Fund for Nature. In Lake Victoria, Africa’s largest lake, fish catches have dropped sharply as pollution, invasive species and illegal fishing reduce stocks that millions of people depend on for food and income say the researchers.
