A unique and historic event took place at HMS Dolphin, Gosport, Hampshire when 13 past and preset Flag Officers Submarines hosted a lunch in honour of Admiral of the Fleet Sir John Fieldhouse, the first Flag Officer Submarines to be promoted to the appointment of Chief of the Defence Staff.
