Newsroom Ready: Kamloops Nation sees itself on forefront of residential school truths
Former Kamloops chief Manny Jules says the Tk'emlups te Secwepemc Nation is on the forefront of pursuing the truth about a tragedy that could have profound impacts for Indigenous people and Canadians. Jules says family leaders gathered after the discovery of what are believed to be the remains of 215 children at the former Kamloops residential school site to co-ordinate a unified and respectful response.
